Dr Laura Fricker is an experienced General Practitioner and Menopause Specialist working at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle and Spire Manchester Hospital. She graduated from Manchester University in 2004 and has worked within the NHS for over 20 years. She was a partner at Toft Road Surgery in Knutsford until 2019.
She is passionate about Women's Health and has trained to be an Advanced Menopause Expert. She also has a keen interest in Lifestyle medicine and runs a health
screening clinic where she offers comprehensive "Full Body MOTs" for all ages. She enjoys this opportunity to practice preventative medicine by educating and advising patients on lifestyle strategies to better their health and wellbeing.
The perimenopause can be a turbulent time for some women,
but Dr Fricker passionately believes that with the right help and support this
transitional journey can be a positive experience. Menopause care needs to be
individualised to every woman’s particular needs, preferences and medical
history.
