Dr Alkhamees has a particular interest in advanced surgical techniques, including coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair and replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair. He is also highly proficient in the management of advanced heart failure, utilising mechanical circulatory support systems such as VAD and ECMO, as well as heart transplantation.
