About
Dr O’Connor has a specialist interest in metabolic medicine and holds a diploma in Diabetes in Primary Care, with a particular focus on the management of type 2 diabetes. She is passionate about delivering excellent, holistic care, actively involving patients in shared decision-making and supporting them to improve their health through sustainable lifestyle changes where appropriate.
She also holds a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and is a GP trainer, supervising and mentoring doctors during their GP training. In addition, Dr O’Connor is the PCN Education Lead for her local primary care network and has undertaken specialised training in the assessment and diagnosis of adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further strengthening her commitment to comprehensive, patient-centred care.
Outside of work, Dr O’Connor enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time at the theatre and opera.
