Becoming a mother changed how I practise obstetrics. Years of training and experience did not remove the vulnerability I felt during my own pregnancy, and at that moment I understood, more deeply than ever, what it means to sit on the other side of care. That understanding shapes everything I do as an obstetrician.
I am a consultant obstetrician specialising in high-risk and complex pregnancy, offering all-inclusive private maternity care from as early as six weeks through to postnatal recovery. My practice includes pre-existing maternal medical conditions, perinatal mental health, hyperemesis gravidarum, previous pregnancy loss, multiple pregnancy, advanced maternal age, and pregnancies following IVF.
Private appointments are held at Central Health London, where my patients also have access to an experienced multidisciplinary team including midwives, lactation consultants, and newborn specialists, as well as mental health team and paediatricians all in one place. Deliveries take place at either The Portland Hospital or Kings College Hospital (Guthrie Private Wing) as per patients desire and clinical indication.
My approach combines meticulous clinical care with honest, straightforward communication. I am consistently present and accessible throughout your pregnancy, and to date I have never missed a birth. Women who see me tell me they feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported in making decisions about their own care.
Alongside my private practice, I am a Consultant Obstetrician at King's College Hospital, where I hold roles as Labour Ward Lead, Lead Obstetrician for Perinatal Mental Health, and Clinical Lead for Cardiology, Respiratory and Liver Disorders in Pregnancy, ensuring I remain at the forefront of modern obstetric practice and patient safety.
I trained at Imperial College London and hold membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in Obstetric Medicine.
