Psychotherapy
About
CAT is a therapeutic approach that effectively addresses a wide range of emotional difficulties and psychological and psychiatric disorders by focusing on the relational aspects of individuals' challenges. Kathryn's background in community mental health teams and her role as an approved mental health professional have equipped her with significant experience in managing risk and complexity, particularly in severe mental health presentations.
She is adept at working with and assessing individuals with psychiatric diagnoses, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, obsessional disorders, physical health issues with psychological components, and medically unexplained symptoms. Her qualifications include specialised training in cognitive analytic therapy, which was accredited by the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy in 2015.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
