Dr. Kassem El Houcheimi is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai. He graduated as a medical doctor from the American University of Beirut in 1988 and completed his orthopedic surgery degree there in 1994. During his residency, which took place during the Lebanese war, he gained significant expertise in the surgical management of a wide range of traumatic injuries.
Following his graduation, Dr. El Houcheimi completed four years of advanced training in the United Kingdom at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital program in Oswestry. This included two years in general orthopedics with exposure to hand surgery, arthroscopic procedures, and joint replacement, followed by a fellowship in upper extremity surgery and another in pediatric orthopedics.
He has more than 25 years of private practice experience in Lebanon, focusing on reconstructive orthopedic surgery. His expertise includes knee and hip arthroscopies, joint replacement, minimally invasive surgical techniques for faster recovery, leg lengthening, fixation of complex fractures, and the treatment of congenital deformities of the hip and lower extremities in children. He is also experienced in managing osteoporosis and monitoring musculoskeletal development in children.
Dr. El Houcheimi is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and brings over three decades of surgical experience to his practice.
He is fluent in Arabic and English.
