About Joel Robertson
Joel Robertson is an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist located at 96 Harley Street. Trained to Master's level and skilled in various therapeutic approaches, Joel collaboratively works with clients facing a range of difficulties and challenges. His mission is to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients can explore their concerns at their own pace, facilitating opportunities for positive changes. Joel's approach is characterised by flexibility and collaboration, ensuring he remains alongside clients as they address aspects of their lives. Sessions with Joel can be conducted online or in-person, depending on what suits the client best. His primary training includes his Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton, and he actively engages in regular Continuing Professional Development to stay up-to-date with the latest therapeutic methodologies. Joel is a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Member of the Association of Christians in Counselling Joel’s therapeutic practice is integrative, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches. His focus on person-centred counselling, attachment theory, and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) reflects a holistic and tailored approach to meet the diverse needs of his clients.
