About Mr James Kwok
James is a Physiotherapist who believes strongly in combining manual therapy with personalised rehabilitation programmes to help individuals return to their pre-injury level of function and optimise their long-term health. He is dedicated to staying at the forefront of current research and clinical developments, ensuring his patients receive care that is both effective and up to date. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of sports and musculoskeletal conditions, with particular focus on shoulder and lower limb injuries, ligament damage, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, and structured return-to-sport pathways. His treatment approach is holistic, recognising the close connection between physical health and overall wellbeing. James regularly integrates manual therapy techniques alongside Chinese acupuncture and Western dry needling to reduce muscle tension, relieve pain and support tissue healing. This is complemented by his expertise in strength and conditioning and the use of clinical Pilates to improve mobility, stability and movement control, helping patients build a foundation for injury prevention and long-term performance. As a former elite athlete, James brings valuable first-hand insight to his clinical work. He played football at club and international level and was part of the Hong Kong national football team. He has also competed at a high level in endurance sports, ranking in the top 20 in top-division cross-country races and participating in multiple track and long-distance running events. This personal experience allows him to genuinely understand the physical and psychological demands of sport and recovery. Supported by a strong network of leading orthopaedic surgeons and consultants in London, James is well placed to guide patients from early-stage rehabilitation through to peak health, function and athletic performance.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
