Dr Jacques Mizan

Dr Jacques Mizan is an experienced primary care practitioner who has worked across the UK at a variety of practices, including Southward CCG—where he was the clinical lead, and AT Medics—where he was the lead GP.

He has expertise in the following areas:

• Contraception Advice, Emergency Contraception

• Flu Vaccine, Immunisations, Travel Vaccinations

• Medical Certificate, Medical Report, Referral Letter

• Nutritional Education

• Sexual Health Advice, Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Screening

He also has interests in the development of new models of community health care delivery, building upon self-management, empowerment, and new ways of connecting and accessing health support, including further exploration of digital technology and e-health.

Dr Mizan is also interested in working with communities to co-design practical, sustainable, and user-generated solutions to unmet social needs, as well as the design of healthcare facilities and how these can be optimised to improve healthcare outcomes.
