About Ms Jackie Tan
Jackie Tan is a dedicated and highly qualified Osteopath with a strong focus on female health, pregnancy care, exercise rehabilitation, and the Perrin Technique. She currently practises at Kennington Osteopaths & Physiotherapy where she supports patients through all stages of life using a compassionate, evidence-informed and holistic approach. Jackie holds a Master of Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy, and also brings a strong academic background in science with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Molecular Biology. This combination of scientific knowledge and clinical skill allows her to assess and treat patients with a deep understanding of how the body functions on both a systemic and cellular level. With a long-standing passion for movement, Jackie draws on her background in dance, gymnastics and fitness to support both athletic and non-athletic patients. She has practised yoga for over a decade and is currently training in calisthenics and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Her diverse physical background enhances her ability to treat musculoskeletal conditions, guide movement rehabilitation, and support injury prevention. Jackie has a special interest in women’s health and has completed a postgraduate diploma at the Molinari Institute of Health. She offers care tailored to the hormonal, structural and emotional changes experienced by women across the lifespan, including during fertility treatment, pregnancy and menopause. Her treatment integrates manual therapy, movement education, patient empowerment and lifestyle medicine. She is also trained in the Perrin Technique, which supports lymphatic drainage and immune function, particularly for individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. With years of clinical experience, Jackie is known for her thoughtful, supportive and thorough approach, creating personalised care plans that consider each patient's unique needs and goals.
