Ms. Inez Hasenfuss is an accredited psychotherapist specialising in both adults and adolescents. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Munster Technological University (2009-2013) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Open University.
Inez has over a decade of experience in the field, primarily working with adolescent clients and their families who face challenging life circumstances. She applies a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Gestalt Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, Analytical Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Ines is also experienced in treating birth-related and general trauma, chronic pain, immigrant integration, and child and adolescent developmental issues.
Inez is working in private practice as an Adult and Adolescent Psychotherapist since June 2017, where she continues to support adult and young individuals through emotional and behavioural difficulties. She also has experience providing psychotherapy working with MyMind-, Social Services Centre- and Oakwood- therapy centres in Limerick, as well as providing support to primary school students with emotional and behavioural challenges through the Smile School Completion Programme.
Ines began her career as a volunteer at Childline, ISPCC, where she developed exceptional telephone communication skills, particularly in managing distressed callers. Additionally, she has experience as a relief nurse at Regional Hospital Limerick and Krankenhaus Nordstadt, specialising in neurology, neurosurgery, and abdominal intensive care.
