For 15 years, Dr Gold managed a Pain Management clinic. He has also been actively engaged in Medical Education for 28 years, contributing significantly to the professional development of healthcare practitioners. In his earlier years as a GP, Dr Gold served as a Clinical Assistant in Cardiology at St Mary's Hospital. He has specialist interests in family planning, holding a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), and Paediatrics, with a diploma in Child Health (DCH). As a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society, he has explored alternative therapeutic approaches.
With 17-years as a GP Appraiser, Dr Gold has played a crucial role in evaluating and guiding fellow practitioners. His specific medical interests include cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, and respiratory medicine, showcasing a well-rounded expertise. Additionally, Dr Gold dedicates himself to staying current in the field by organising 18 Continuing Medical Education conferences annually. This commitment ensures that he remains up to date with developments across the entire spectrum of general practice, allowing him to continue providing a holistic approach in caring for his patients.
