Dr Hina J Shahid is an award-winning family doctor with a special interest in integrative women's health and lifestyle medicine. At LIPS Healthcare in Battersea Power Station, she provides personalised care that focuses on preventive and holistic approaches to hormonal and menstrual health. Her practice is rooted in aligning lifestyle factors with medical science to support long-term wellbeing.
Dr Shahid graduated with distinction in medical sciences from University College London in 2008, receiving first prize in Psychology, Sociology and Epidemiology. She completed her GP training through the Chelsea and Westminster programme and has since built an extensive portfolio in both clinical practice and medical leadership.
Her background includes a BSc in Pharmacology and an MSc in Public Health, alongside postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Paediatrics. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, and a member of the National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome.

Dr Shahid is also a respected medical educator, appraiser, and published author, with over 50 contributions to journals, books and conferences. She chairs two national non-profit organisations and frequently appears in the media, including the BBC, ITV and Sky News. She has advised the UK government, international organisations and the UN on health policy, and serves as an ambassador for numerous women’s health initiatives, including the British Medical Association’s campaign to end sexism in medicine.
