He is also the founder and chief of the Mind Zone Psychiatry Center in Cairo, established in 2021, which focuses on providing comprehensive mental health care. In addition, he has played a pivotal role in the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer, where he has been the Head of the Mental Health Department since 2022, ensuring mental health support for patients battling cancer.
Dr. Abuhegazy's extensive professional experience includes working as a Psychiatry Consultant at Al-Helal Hospital in Cairo from 2005 to 2007, as well as serving as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Saudi Arabian Airlines Medical Services from 2007 to 2012. From 2013 to 2021, he was a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Armed Forces Hospital in the Southern Region of Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia.
