About Dr Gerrit van de Pol
Dr Gerrit van de Pol is an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr van de Pol completed their orthopaedic training in the Netherlands and undertook further subspecialty training in Australia. They first completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery, including pelvis and acetabular surgery in Adelaide. Following this, Dr van de Pol undertook a fellowship in knee reconstructive surgery in Sydney. Dr van de Pol is also trained in knee and hip arthroplasty. Dr van de Pol is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. They are also a senior lecturer at the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Queensland, where they are involved in the education of medical students and orthopaedic trainees.
