Dr. Geoffrey Brent
About
Dr. Brent’s academic journey began with a BSc in Neuroscience before earning his medical degree, both from University College London. He completed his dermatology training within the competitive South West London training programme. He has received multiple awards including from the British Association of Dermatologists, the Royal Society of Medicine, and St John’s Dermatological Society. He was selected as a UK representative on the prestigious Euroderm Excellence Programme, and ranked in the top three European trainees.
Throughout his career, Dr. Brent has been involved in research, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presenting his work at national and international meetings. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare and Biomedical Education from St. George’s University of London and is passionate about teaching. He has worked with the British College of Dermatology to create an educational resource for GPs on actinic keratosis.
Known for his friendly, empathetic, and collaborative approach, Dr. Brent prioritises high-quality, personalised care tailored to each patient’s needs. Whilst not at work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, and is a keen squash player.
