Fran Leavy Fran has been a practicing counsellor for 15 years, specialising in Couples Counselling. He is also a qualified EMDR Practitioner. Fran practices Person Centred Counselling which is a humanistic, non-directive approach based on Carl Rogers' theory, focusing on creating a safe, empathetic environment for partners to explore relationship issues without judgment.
Fran believes that the couple are the experts in their own relationship and his role is to help the couple lead the sessions as they explore their own feelings and issues. The focus is on the subjective experiences of both partners, fostering a deeper understanding of one another's perspectives to improve communication and connection.
