About Dr Fiona Mitchell
Dr Fiona Mitchell is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience working across both NHS and private services. She provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and management for children and young people presenting with a wide range of developmental, emotional and mental health concerns. Dr Mitchell has a particular clinical interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, including the assessment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In addition, she supports young people experiencing anxiety and related difficulties, offering tailored management plans to meet their individual needs. Her clinical practice combines diagnostic assessment, evidence-based treatment and close collaboration with families, schools and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. She works with children and adolescents across the age range, supporting them to manage challenges associated with neurodevelopmental, behavioural and emotional conditions. Alongside her NHS work, Dr Mitchell provides private consultations through Private CAMHS Glasgow, enabling families to access timely specialist support.
