About Dr Felicity Watson
Dr Felicity Watson is a Consultant Gynaecologist based in Glasgow who has been practising since 2009. She completed her specialist training in the West of Scotland, focusing on major gynaecological surgery including open, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic techniques, as well as gynaecological ultrasound. Currently, she sees private patients at Nuffield Health Glasgow and serves as an NHS Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where she manages a high volume of surgical cases. Within the NHS, she is the Gynaecology Theatre Optimisation Lead and co-led the establishment of the NHSGGC Same Day Gynaecology Pathway. Her clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of endometriosis, including excision and ureterolysis, alongside the treatment of Caesarean scar niches, fibroids, and ovarian cysts. Dr Watson also provides medical management for hormonal and menstrual dysfunction, including PCOS, heavy or painful periods, irregular cycles, and perimenopause. Her surgical portfolio includes hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometrial ablation, and adnexal surgery. She is a member of the British Society of Gynaecology Endoscopy and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Additionally, she serves as the RCOG E-learning Lead for Surgical and Postoperative Care and is a faculty member for multiple practical surgical skills courses.
