About Dr Fady Atalla
Mr Fady Atalla is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery. He currently practises at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital (NHS), and will be joining The Winterbourne Hospital in the upcoming months. Mr Atalla graduated with an MB BCh from Ain Shams University in 2005 and went on to complete an MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cairo University in 2009. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience working in British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE)-accredited centres, where he developed advanced expertise in complex laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He provides comprehensive care for women with endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis, and chronic pelvic pain. In addition to advanced laparoscopic surgery, Mr Atalla offers a broad range of outpatient procedures, including diagnostic hysteroscopy, MyoSure polypectomy, NovaSure endometrial ablation, smear testing, endometrial biopsies, and coil insertions, performed under local or general anaesthesia as appropriate. Mr Atalla also performs laparoscopic and abdominal hysterectomies, laparoscopic sterilisation, and excision of vulval and vaginal lesions. He has a particular interest in subfertility associated with endometriosis and in providing effective, minimally invasive contraceptive solutions, including permanent sterilisation.
