He has served as Consultant Urological Surgeon at Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool since 2016 offering advanced expertise in the management of kidney stone disease and a full spectrum of urological conditions. Specialist Skills & Procedures Kidney & Ureteric Stones – expert in LASER stone treatment (ureteroscopy) and Keyhole kidney stone surgery (PCNL) Bladder Problems – diagnosis and management of urinary tract infections (cystitis), blood in the urine (haematuria), urinary urgency and incontinence. Including endoscopic assessment of the bladder (flexible cystoscopy). Prostate Health – diagnosis and management of prostate enlargement, including urine flow assessment and prostate surgery (TURP). General Urology – foreskin and scrotal surgery, including circumcision under local anaesthesia Specialist Training & International Experience Mr Housami graduated from Damascus University then completed surgical training in the South West of England. His research at the Bristol Urological Institute on non-invasive urodynamic diagnostics has been presented internationally and published in peer-reviewed journals. He went on to complete Specialist Urology Training in the West of Scotland, followed by a prestigious Endourology Fellowship at the Scottish Lithotriptor Centre in Edinburgh. He has also refined his skills in keyhole surgery techniques at specialist centres overseas, ensuring patients benefit from the most modern, minimally invasive approaches.
