He undertook a Royal College of Surgeons recognised Lower Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, with advanced training in hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive surgery, and soft tissue reconstruction in younger adults. He subsequently completed a further fellowship at the internationally renowned Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada — one of North America’s leading arthroplasty institutions — where he trained alongside world-leading hip and knee surgeons including Hugh Cameron, John Cameron, and Jeff Gollish.
