She is experienced in carrying out minor skin surgery, including skin biopsies, simple excisions, shave biopsies, curettage and cautery, and steroid injections for conditions such as keloid scars and alopecia. Over the course of her NHS career, she has performed more than 2,000 minor procedures. Her approach combines technical precision with compassionate care, ensuring patients receive effective and thorough treatment.
Alongside her clinical roles, Dr Panagou is actively involved in medical education. She coordinates teaching and student placements within Dermatology clinics, supporting the next generation of doctors through hands-on training and academic guidance.
Dr Panagou sees patients privately at The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK in London, and at Spire Harpenden Hospital. She is fluent in both English and Greek. Her qualifications include a BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Leeds, an MRes in Biomedicine from University College London, and an MBBS from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. She obtained her MRCP in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians in 2015. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Medical Association, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and the Royal College of Physicians.
