About Ms Erika Manzo
Ms Erika Manzo is an accomplished Consultant at North West Anglia Foundation Trust, where she leads the Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Service. With a strong commitment to understanding and treating gynaecological conditions that affect women’s lives, she works diligently to help her patients regain or maintain a good quality of life. Specialising in menstrual disorders, adolescent gyaecology and menopause, she has developed significant expertise in medical and surgical management of endometriosis, fibroids and various reproductive medicine concerns. A specialist in gynaecological minimal access surgery, Ms Manzo is skilled in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques. She routinely performs procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomies, treatment of ovarian pathologies, and the hysteroscopic removal of polyps and fibroids. In addition, she has a keen interest in gynaecological endocrinology, focusing on conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, period disturbances, PMS, and amenorrhoea. Proficient in diagnosing benign gynaecological pathologies through transvaginal ultrasound, she consistently offers her patients modern and up-to-date treatment options. Graduating with distinction from Italy in 1998 with an MD, Ms Manzo obtained her CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the East of England Deanery in 2010. She has built her career through positions at prominent hospitals including Addenbrooke’s Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), she is also the Head of School for postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East of England. Her training during the emergence of innovative gynaecological technologies has uniquely prepared her to implement cutting-edge treatment options in clinical practice.
