Zusätzlich erwarb er das international anerkannte Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H) des Royal College of Physicians in London und nahm am Asian Clinical Tropical Medicine Course teil. Er besitzt außerdem das ÖÄK-Diplom für Krankenhaushygiene.

In seiner Wahlarzttätigkeit kann sich Dr. Pawelka mehr Zeit für seine Patient:innen nehmen, um Diagnosen ausführlich zu erklären, Behandlungsentscheidungen gemeinsam zu treffen und auch individuelle Wünsche in den Therapieplan zu integrieren.
