Ms Eleftheria Kleidi is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based at the Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she leads the breast surgery service. Ms Kleidi holds a PhD in General Surgery and a Postgraduate Diploma in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia, where she is also a tutor on the Master’s Programme in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Breast Surgery and a member of the Association of Breast Surgery (UK).
In her role as Breast Surgery Lead at Addenbrooke’s, she is leading multiple quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience, streamline care pathways, and uphold the highest surgical standards. Academically, she has a strong record of peer-reviewed publications and contributes to national and international clinical studies. She has a particular interest in the de-escalation of breast cancer treatment, focusing on maintaining oncological safety while reducing treatment-related morbidity.
Fluent in English, Greek and Spanish, Ms Kleidi is also committed to medical education and regularly contributes to national discussions and academic work shaping the future of breast surgery.
