About

Dr Wayne Kampers is a renowned and respected Integrative Consultant Psychiatrist practising at Priory Hospital Roehampton, where his aim is to help clients achieve a happier and healthier life. He has outstanding testimonials from former and current patients which gives clients the confidence that they will get the best care possible. His integration of psychiatric diagnostic techniques with complementary therapies, nutrition and lifestyle changes is an innovative and modern approach to holistic care. His special clinical interests include addiction treatment and chronic pain syndrome, but he has experience spanning across all areas of psychiatry.

He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1988 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery before moving to Canada to continue his career and became a Medical Director and Chief Physician of a busy GP Practice. While working there he often became frustrated at the lack of mental health services and time constraints in helping those suffering, and after an agonising back condition hampered his wellbeing, he adopted a holistic approach to treatment.

Dr Kampers is an avid lover of all exercise and encourages his clients to incorporate sport and keeping active into their life, and has been appointed as a Trustee of Sporting Chance, a charity to provide specialist addiction recovery facility for athletes.
