Dr Ezzat is a Consultant Electrophysiologist with a particular interest in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD). They are highly regarded for their work in expanding the ACHD arrhythmia service. Dr Ezzat provides care for patients experiencing a range of heart rhythm disorders, including bradycardias, SVT, and AF. Their expertise extends to performing catheter ablations, as well as implanting and extracting pacemakers and defibrillators. Additionally, Dr Ezzat sees patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Dr Ezzat's commitment lies in providing holistic care to their patients, addressing not just the medical aspects of heart rhythm conditions but also supporting their overall well-being. Dr Ezzat graduated from Sheffield University and pursued training in general medicine and cardiology in Leeds. Subsequently, they moved to London and were awarded a PhD from King's College. Their dedication to electrophysiology (EP) led them to train at the Heart Hospital and Barts, followed by a prestigious fellowship in ACHD EP at Toronto General Hospital. Dr Ezzat maintains an active interest in outcomes research and investigates the mechanisms and outcomes of arrhythmia in patients with congenital heart disease.
