Dr Tarun Mittal is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist with over two decades of experience in heart imaging. He sees private patients at Harefield Hospital.
Dr Mittal qualified and trained for medicine in India, after which he completed his three year senior residency in diagnostic and interventional radiology at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, India. After this, he came to the UK in 1995 to undergo specialist clinical radiology training and interventional radiology training at the University Hospital of Wales. Upon completion, he gained his CCST, which he followed with further training at the Yorkshire Heart Centre in Leeds, after which, he was appointed as a Consultant. Since his appointment at the Harefield Hospital, Dr Mittal has undertaken various lead roles with the Cardiac MRI services within the department.
