Dr Walayat Hussain is a Consultant Dermatologist, Dermatological Surgeon and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. Dr Hussain graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School and undertook postgraduate training at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. Dr Hussain is on the General Medical Council's Specialist register (4744306) as a Consultant Dermatologist acknowledging their expertise in conditions relating to the skin.
Dr Hussain is one of the UK's most published Dermatological Surgeons. They have a particular interest in developing surgical techniques that provide patients with the best results.
Dr Hussain is also President-Elect of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery and currently leads the British Society for Dermatological Surgery's research sub-group.
Outside of their clinical work, Dr Hussain enjoys trail running, Muay Thai martial arts and rugby.
