Dr Sophia Khan is a Consultant Rheumatologist covering all aspects of Rheumatology. This includes Ankylosing Spondylitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, connective tissue diseases, Bursitis and Osteoarthritis. She has been working at Spire Little Aston Hospital, Spire Parkway Hospital and Good Hope Hospital since 2010. She also runs a clinic for patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis within her NHS practice.
Dr Khan qualified in Medicine at the University of Bristol in 1998, before completing her medical training in the South West. She then undertook higher sub-speciality training in Rheumatology in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
She is an expert in joint pain treatments and she also provides soft tissue injections for trochanteric bursa, tendonitis and sub-acromial bursa.
