About Dr Shahnaz Jamil-Copley
Dr Jamil-Copley is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist based at Nottingham University Hospitals with interest in heart rhythm management. She underwent training in Nottingham, Imelrial College London and Milan, Italy. She has an established academic record having obtained her PhD from Imperial College London in 2016 and she is now an Honorary Associate Professor at the University Of Nottingham. Her research Interest is in the use of AI and cardiac MRI to deliver precision treatment for patients with heart rhythm disorders. She manages all cardiac conditions but her expertise lies in the management and treatment (with ablation) for AF, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia and SVTs. She also implants and manages patients requiring specialist cardiac devices eg pacemakers, ICDs and CRTs.
