About Dr Philip Haslam
Dr Haslam is a Consultant Interventional and Uroradiologist. They qualified at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Dr Haslam was Lecturer in Interventional Radiology at the Royal College of Surgeons and Beaumont Hospital Dublin. They have interests in interventional and uroradiology, with experience in a wide variety of imaging techniques for the kidneys, bladder, prostate gland, arteries and veins. Dr Haslam was one of the founders of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology and has been the society's Chairman. They are also a founder of IOUK (Interventional Oncology UK) dedicated to improving cancer outcomes using minimally invasive techniques. Dr Haslam is the founder and Editor in chief of Which Medical Device, an independent educational and review website for medical devices and procedures, providing information to clinicians to help them make decisions on the best devices to use for their patients.
