I completed my Rheumatology and General Medicine training in the London/South Thames rotation in 2014. I did MRCP in Rheumatology in 2013 and an MSc in Rheumatology from Kings College London in 2014. My master's research explored the role FDG-PET imaging in large vessel vasculitis and was conducted at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals and Guys and St. Thomas Hospital.
I worked as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a year before moving to Yorkshire and have been a Consultant Rheumatologist at
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust since April 2016.
I provide services in general rheumatology and have interests in managing vasculitis and connective tissue conditions. I am trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound for
assessment of inflammatory arthritis and successfully developed, led and
integrated use of ultrasound at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale
Royal Hospital rheumatology clinics. This has resulted in reducing the number
of hospital visits and improved patient experience and outcomes.
I have a special interest in management of large vessel vasculitis and the role of different imaging modalities in managing these conditions.
I live in Huddersfield with my wife and 2 teenage boys. If left with any spare time, I enjoy reading and playing tennis and chess.

My NHS practcie integrates use of ultrasound in clinical practice and in addition to diagnosis and monitoring I also provide ultrasound guided injections.
