Dr Nicholas M Craven is a Consultant Dermatologist with specific interests in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers and cutaneous drug reactions, dermoscopy and dermatological surgery. Dr Craven consults privately at the Regency Hospital, Macclesfield, the Nuffield North Staffordshire Hospital, Newcastle-under-Lyme and at Brampton Medical, Newcastle-under-Lyme .
Following pre-clinical training at Cambridge University and clinical training at Oxford University, Dr Craven qualified in medicine in 1989, subsequently training in Dermatology in Manchester. He later spent time in Paris, training in the diagnosis and management of severe cutaneous drug eruptions.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr Craven was a lecturer in dermatology at the University of Manchester from 1994 to 1999. He is also a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Society for Cutaneous Allergy and the European Academy of Dermatovenereology.
