Dr Mariam Kashmiri is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in General Adult Psychiatry and Addictions. Dr Kashmiri qualified from Medical School at The University of Nairobi in 1995 before training as a psychiatrist at Charing Cross and St George's Hospitals. She strives to take a compassionate and holistic approach to treating mental disorders paying special interest to addiction and co-morbidities. Dr Kashmiri uses various therapies including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Pia Melody and Hypnotherapy to treat her clients.
Additionally she is actively involved in medical education, publishing in award winning journals and presenting her research nationally and internationally.
