Dr Joshua Adedokun is Pain management Consultant. He has extensive experience in a wide range of chronic pain conditions such as cervical spinal, neck pain, whiplash syndromes and brachialgia, thoracic spinal, lumbar spinal and sciatic pain.
His experience also includes other chronic pain conditions such as atypical facial pain, trigeminal neuralgia, post herpetic neuralgia, and other neuropathic pain syndromes, complex headaches, complex regional pain syndrome, cancer pain, musculoskeletal injuries/ pain, repetitive strain injuries, fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain syndrome, shoulder pain, abdominal pain and pelvic pain syndromes including sacrococcygeal pain.
Dr Joshua Adedokun became a Fellow of the College of Anaesthetists of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2004, in the same year became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. He was granted a Fellowship by assessment of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2009.
Dr Adedokun was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine at the Pennine Acute NHS Trust (North Manchester General Hospital) in May 2007.Then later transfered to the Manchester Foundation Trust and later to the Northern Care Alliance up till August 2025. Dr Adedokun is currently in private practice.
