About Dr Joel David
Dr Joel David obtained his MB BCh (cum laude) in 1981 from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He trained in rheumatology at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School/Hammersmith Hospital. Dr David gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1984 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 1996. Dr Joel David works as a consultant rheumatologist at The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Oxford and the Regional Specialty Advisor for Rheumatology for the Oxford Region. Dr David founded OxPARC (Oxford Paediatric and Adolescence Rheumatology Center), oxsport@noc (a state of the art Sport and Exercise Medicine Department in Oxfordshire), and a national referral centre for Autoimmune Thyroid Eye disease.
