Mr Irfan Syed is a Consultant ENT surgeon at  University Hospital Lewisham & Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London. He is very experienced in performing procedures for all aspects of ENT issues in adults and children with a special interest in rhinology (nose and sinuses) and facial plastic surgery(rhinoplasty).

Mr Syed trained at University College London and completed his specialist ENT surgical training on the London Training Rotation including paediatric ENT training at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He was awarded several fellowships during his training including one focusing on rhinology & facial plastic surgery at St George's Hospital. He was awarded the British Rhinological Society Award to train at the Sinus & Nasal Institute in St Petersburg, Florida and the European Rhinological Society to train at the Amsterdam Medical Centre.  His international training has also taken him to Miami, Paris & Vancouver.

He has won a Top Doctors UK 2022 award as a specialist most recommended by the medical community.

My Syed is a senior lecturer at King's College London with additional educational roles including the Course Director for The London Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course and Facial Plastic Surgery Course, The London ST3 Course, and The London FRCS (ORL-HNS) Viva Course.  He has also been asked to teach on the East Anglian Sinus, Orbit & Skull Base Course and the London Facial Aesthetic Cosmetic Training Course and to present at a number of international meetings.

He is a specialist advisor for the Care Quality Commission with an interest in improving healthcare both in NHS and private practice.
