About Dr Honer Kadr
Dr Honer Kadr is a consultant cardiologist at Brentwood Nuffield Hospital and has extensive experience in all aspects of general cardiology. Over the past 15 years, Dr Kadr has been involved in extensive multi-centre, multi-national research programs, researching different areas of cardio-vascular medicine, the results of which have shaped current practice. Dr Kadr is also in charge of a large unit conducting research on different aspects of cardiology. Dr Kadr has a broad cardiological practice at Barking Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust including both clinical and investigational services, covering non-invasive tests, i.e. echocardiograms, all modalities of cardiac monitors and exercise tests. He has set up various cardiac services, including rapid access chest pain and post myocardial infarction (MI) clinics in the Trust, which have proved to be a success for early assessment of patients with these cardiac conditions. He performs cardiac investigations and procedures in addition to regular weekly sessions of cardiac catheterisations and coronary angiograms.
