During her training period, she was also awarded a fellowship in Denmark working alongside and learning from Professor Kjeld Sobelle – the pioneer of minimally invasive periacetabular osteotomies. In her current role of Consultant, she has also taken on additional responsibilities as Head of Trauma at Barts.
Ms Arshad is also a very engaged teacher, holding the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and tutor for the Masters in International Orthopaedic Trauma Sciences at the Queen Mary University of London. She is also an active researcher with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed several book chapters.
