Dr Gerry Saldanha qualified from St Thomas Hospital London in 1989, after holding a number of Specialist Registrar posts including the Brook Hospital, Guy's Hospital, The Royal London & St Bartholomew's Hospitals and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. He carried out laboratory research into basic mechanisms of neuropathic pain and migraine.
Dr Saldanha is a consultant Neurologist appointed in 2000 to Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He provides regular weekly clinics for patients referred with a wide range of neurological symptoms and conditions. He also supports the inpatient service at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust by providing consultations for pateints with neurological problems. Dr Saldanha has served as Clinical Lead for the Neurology Department in Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
Dr Saldanha has chaired the Pan London Training Committee for Neurology Higher Specialist Training and is currently Training Programme Director for South London Higher Specialist Training in Neurology. Dr Saldanha is a member of The Medicine Board for London Deanery.
He provides a Botox for chronic migraine clinic in Tunbridge Wells.
Dr Saldanha attained a degree in Chemistry at Keble College Oxford before completing his Medical Degree at St Thomas's Hospital.
