About Dr Carol Whelan
Dr Whelan is a consultant cardiologist and honorary senior lecturer with an interest in imaging and heart failure. Dr Whelan assesses patients for possible coronary artery disease, heart failure or valvular heart disease. She is interested in echocardiography including stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiography. Dr Whelan has a special interest in cardiac amyloidosis and her work including the screening and follow up of patients for this condition.
