Dr Aleksandar Godic is a consultant dermatologist based in London, UK. He is the Clinical Director at Clapham Park Dermatology and also serves as Clinical Director at The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic. His areas of expertise include general dermatology, skin surgery, hair disorders, dermatopathology, and aesthetic dermatology. He also has a particular interest in stem cell treatment in aesthetic medicine, which forms a key part of his research focus.
Dr Godic completed his medical degree at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1996 before completing his specialist training in dermatovenereology in 2001. He went on to obtain a PhD from the University of Ljubljana in 2004. Following this, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and undertook further dermatology training at Yale University. He holds the European Board Certificate in Dermatopathology and has been listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology and Venereology since March 2013.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Godic is an Editor of Acta Dermatovenerologica Alpina, Panonica et Adriatica and has contributed to numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has also been recognised with the Top Doctors 2021 Award.
