She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, India, in 2004 before relocating to the UK, where she became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010.
