About David Duffy
David Duffy – Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist David Duffy is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Seventeen Physiotherapy Clinic, specialising in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. He works with a wide range of patients, from those recovering from surgery to high-level athletes looking to optimise performance and prevent injury. David graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019 and is currently advancing his expertise through an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at the University of Hertfordshire. He is also a certified Weightlifting and Shockwave Therapy Specialist, combining clinical expertise with a strong foundation in biomechanics and strength & conditioning. He has extensive experience across both NHS and private practice settings. Within the NHS, David treats GP-referred patients and supports individuals recovering from orthopaedic, spinal, and hand surgery. In private practice, he works closely with athletes, delivering tailored rehabilitation, pre-season preparation, and performance-focused programmes. David’s treatment approach integrates hands-on manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, and structured strength and conditioning programmes. His focus is on identifying the root cause of injury, restoring movement, and building resilience to prevent recurrence. As a competitive CrossFit athlete, David brings a practical understanding of functional movement and performance demands into his clinical work, helping clients return to activity safely and effectively. Outside the clinic, David competes nationally in CrossFit, enjoys travelling, and continues to develop his knowledge within physiotherapy, fitness, and performance.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
