Dr Anderson is a recognised international authority on the causes, treatment and management of stroke, and other aspects of cardiovascular disease. Their research programme uniquely links clinical medicine and public health, and involves multidisciplinary teams in many countries. Dr Anderson has led multiple major international multicentre clinical trials and population-based research over the last 30 years.
Dr Anderson completed their Doctor of Philosophy at The University of Western Australia. They are a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences.
