About
Dr Lord studied medicine at the University of Oxford and University College London before completing his radiology training within the Wessex Deanery, where he developed a specialist focus in musculoskeletal imaging. He subsequently undertook a post-CCT fellowship at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where he later joined the consultant team.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Lord is actively involved in education and training. He serves as Fellowship Director for Musculoskeletal Radiology at Imperial, overseeing the professional development of advanced trainees and contributing to academic and clinical teaching. His role includes participation in multidisciplinary meetings alongside orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, sports physicians, and trauma specialists, ensuring coordinated, evidence-based patient care.
Dr Lord’s professional interests encompass all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, with a focus on improving diagnostic precision and outcomes through advanced imaging techniques and image-guided intervention.
