About
He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Sydney University, followed by physician and cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He is currently an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellow at the same institution, where he focuses on multimodality imaging for complex cardiovascular disease assessment.
Dr Kocx holds international accreditations from the US National Board of Echocardiography and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, reflecting his expertise in high-level diagnostic cardiac imaging.
Alongside his clinical training, he has completed a Master of Public Health with a focus on research methods and medical ethics. He is actively involved in academic medicine as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and serves as an Editorial Fellow for the journal Heart, Lung and Circulation associated with the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
He is currently completing a PhD investigating right ventricular function and adaptation using multimodal imaging techniques, with a strong emphasis on translational research linking cardiac imaging science to clinical cardiology practice.
