About

Mr Chris Cartlidge is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon who is fully accredited on the General Medical Council's specialist register for Plastic Surgery. He graduated from Edinburgh University with a first-class BSc (Hons) in pathology and an MB ChB (Hons) in 2006, winning gold medals in both Surgery and Medicine during his time there.

Mr Cartlidge specialises in oncoplastic breast surgery, with a particular interest in breast reconstruction, including implant reconstruction, pedicled flap (LD) and fat transfer. Mr Cartlidge is passionate about providing personalised care to his patients, ensuring they receive the right treatment to achieve the best possible outcome. He works closely with colleagues in radiology, pathology, and oncology to make informed decisions about the surgical management of his patients in his NHS practice in Fife and Forth Valley. In his private practice at La Belle Forme, he is supported by a team of nurses and allied professionals in theatre and outpatient clinics, providing exceptional care to his patients. His extensive experience and expertise make him a highly sought-after Consultant Breast Surgeon.
